Architectural
Ceiling Baffles.
Baffles are sound absorptive units offering a
unique acoustic treatment in lieu of flat ceiling panels. These
standard units are suspended from the ceiling, mainly in areas
with high ceilings, and in large facilities. They offer an economical,
effective, and practical method of substantially reducing the
noise levels, reverberation, and echo within these areas as
they are multi-sound absorbers. Fabra-Wall baffles are constructed
with a rigid fiberglass core and covered with an acoustical
transparent type of fabric vinyl, or with a chlorine resistant
covering for swimming pools. The architectural baffles are manufactured
with neat tailored corners in various sizes, shapes, densities,
and thickness' to suit the acoustic and installation requirements.
Our baffle shapes vary from standard, prism, pyramid, and banner
to custom designs.

Acoustical
Wall and Ceiling Panels.
Pre-manufactured acoustic panels, when placed
strategically, can offer an economical and effective sound
solution that increases the integrity of sound and speech
while reducing unwanted noise.
These acoustic panels are designed to control room reverberation
and alleviate acoustical annoyances. All Fabra-Wall panels
are constructed to suit various types of wall and ceiling
applications. The panels consist of standard or high impact
rigid fiberglass core with sturdy edge construction. They
can be manufactured in standard or custom sizes, with different
edge Finishes and a variety of thicknesses in order to obtain
the required acoustical rating. Panels are finished with a
standard or decorative fabric covering of your choice or with
an acoustical vinyl face.
The
Griptex System.
The Griptex track system by Fabra-Wall is a
concealed PVC track for on-site application of acoustic wall
and ceiling treatment. The Griptex track system is a locking,
flame rated polymer extrusion, which is used to stretch fabric
over an acoustical or tackable core, and firmly clip the fabric
in place to prevent sagging. It is available in different
profiles and thicknesses, which can be used to create different
looks in a room.
The Griptex PVC track system is used to provide a custom fit
acoustic solution, a decorative wall or ceiling finish or
both. It easily adapts to any room size, shape, or condition
and can be installed in distinctive lines, with or without
reveals, or in many graphic designs. This field applied acoustic
system insures a precisely aligned installation that can be
applied over virtually any substrate with the fabric being
neatly fitted to suit most any architectural detail.
With this system, if the appearance of an area to be changed
or upgraded, the fabric can be quickly and easily replaced.
The track is simply unlocked, the existing fabric removed,
and new fabric installed.

Installation and Design
The installation of Griptex track will enhance
the interior environment while providing solutions to acoustical
challenges. It can be installed to create a basic panel look
or be laid out in a graphic design. The track system can be
fastened to virtually any surface. providing a neat, tailored
finish with either fine or distinctive lines.
While aesthetics is of great importance in tele-conference
rooms, meeting rooms, banquet halls or other facilities, proper
acoustics is vital in creating a clear listening environment.
Recording and sound studios have the special acoustical requirements
in controlling the sound generated within the room. By acoustically
covering the hard surfaces, reverberation is eliminated so
only the direct clear sound is heard and recorded.
Open offices, waiting areas, restaurants and hospitals all
have areas where unwanted noise needs to be controlled to
provide a more comfortable space for both conversation and
